The Building Material Cost Index (BCI) (without steel bars and with steel bars) for all regions showed increases in April 2016 as compared to the previous month.

The unit price index of building materials that showed changes in April 2016 compared to the previous month are as follows:

Sabah

The Building Material Cost Index (BCI) (without steel bars and with steel bars) in Kota Kinabalu recorded increases in April 2016 as compared to the previous month.Meanwhile, the BCI in Sandakan and Tawau remained unchanged from the previous month.

Changes in unit price index for building materials by region in Sabah are as follows:

Sarawak

The Building Material Cost Index (BCI) (without steel bars and with steel bars) for several building categories in Kuching, Sibu and Miri showed increases in April 2016 from the previous month.
