Introduction

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is an infectious disease that can cause respiratory illness (like the flu) with symptoms such as a cough, fever, and in more severe cases, difficulty breathing. This landing pages was developed by DOSM as an initiative to inform the public about the status of COVID-19 outbreak in Malaysia.

All the contents are handpicked, filtered, and curated to the best extent to ensure that sources of information for the public to get real-time updates on the virus’s reach and impact. The statistics are presented using an interactive visualisation or infographic to help the public to grasp the information.
