Malaysian Economic Statistics Review (MESR) Volume 8/2021 provides an in-depth analysis on the economic performance based on the recent statistics released by DOSM. This time, the focus is given to the economic scenario for June and the second quarter of 2021, with highlights on some forthcoming statistics for July 2021. For additional reading, a special box article entitled “The Impact of COVID-19 on the Oil and Gas Industry in Malaysia” is featured in this publication, which provides some insights on the impact of pandemic on Malaysia's oil & gas industry in terms of production, exports, labour force and initiatives as well as the value chain of related industries.
