Malaysia’s key economic indicators for the first five months of 2021 show recovering momentum whilst battling the prolonged pandemic

Malaysian Economic Statistics Review (MESR) Volume 7/2021 provides an in-depth analysis on the economic performance based on the recent statistics released by DOSM of which the focus is given to the economic scenario for May 2021 and highlights some forthcoming statistics for June 2021. This release is also complemented with a box article titled "Inflation in Urban and Rural: Why Differs?” which highlights the urban and rural inflation trends and gaps in Malaysia.

This MESR will assist users to have the latest information on the economic performance in detail.
