pesticide
Any substance or mixture of substances that is used to prevent, destroy or control pests-including vectors of human or animal disease, and unwanted species of plants or animals. Pesticides may cause harm during, or otherwise interfere with, the production, processing, storage, transport of marketing food, agricultural commodities, wood and wood products or feedstuff or that may be administered to animals so as to control insects, arachnids or other pets in or on their bodies.

pH value
Measure of the acidity for alkalinity of a liquid. A pH value in the range of 0 to 7 indicates acidity, a pH value in the range of 7 to 14 indicates alkalinity, and a pH value of 7 signifies neutrality.
