The Statistical Debate Competition between the Institute of Higher Education is an annual event organized jointly by the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM), the Malaysia Universities Debate Council (MADUM) and the Malaysia Statistical Training Institute (ILSM). The program was launched in 2022 and since then, it has been implemented every year. This statistical debate contest aims to increase the knowledge of students, future leaders who will lead the leadership of the country in the future on issues, policies, labour market policies at the national and international levels.
The Competition of Statistics Debate 2023 is the second series of competitions to be held on 20 October 2023 with the theme Addressing Labour Market Issues: Pushing Steps for Recovery.
